Alex Clark is a staff producer working mainly in documentary/factual programming, he has recently branched out into pre-school programming. Prior to joining the Gibson Group in 2006, Alex was a staff producer at Natural History New Zealand and had freelanced as a producer/director.

His producing credits for the Gibson Group include the documentary series’ What’s Your Verdict? (4 x 1 hour TV3), Undercover (3 x 1 hour TVNZ), Armed Offenders Squad (3 x 1 hour in production for TVNZ) and several 1 hour documentaries on diverse topics ranging from a rare genetic disorder (Insatiable Hunger) to the Royal New Zealand Ballet on tour (Black On Red). Over the last decade Alex has amassed dozens of credits for international and domestic documentaries, directing or producing programmes for TVNZ, TV3, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, National Geographic International and Al Jazeera International.

Alex has recently branched out into pre-school comedy (Giggles) and primetime drama (Aftershock) productions, and will readily turn his hand to producing corporate or promotional productions.
