Abi From New Zealand
Abi is spoilt, brittle and funny and can really make us laugh with her sarcastic one liners. Her mum runs the luxury hotel on the island so she lives a somewhat unstable life in a penthouse suite with a big allowance and not a lot of parental attention.
Secretly she'd love to join in with Robbo and Tai's wilder adventures but she pretends she'd rather flick through Cosmo. Although it's great to have a group to hang out with at the cafe, (don't you dare tell the others that!) she struggles to work out how to really be friends with them.
When we get to the heart of Abi, we'll see that she's just a lonely girl who's been spoilt, but more than clothes or money she'd just like to be one of the gang if only she'd let her guard down and join in. Trouble is, she has a reputation to keep up!
Abi isn't the brightest at school, but she knows her Gucci from her Prada and can name the latest A-lister in a flash. She's not 'officially' interested in any of the boys on the island but there is a very buried frisson between her and Robbo.
She is often the most suspicious of Chloe as those two are literally worlds apart. And she'd give you a Chinese burn if you suggested that Megan listed as LOSER GIRL on Abi's mobile - was her best friend. But actually you'd be right.
